  • Check whether the role is employee service work or contracting work, because the credential question differs.
  • Match your experience to the refrigerant, equipment, controls, and repair duties named in the posting. EPA Section 608 certification matters when work could release regulated refrigerant from an appliance; it is not a blanket credential for every role.
  • For ammonia systems, ask about site training and safety duties. OSHA process-safety requirements depend on the system and its ammonia quantity; confirm the facility's requirements.
