- Match your experience to the refrigerant, equipment, controls, and repair duties named in the posting. EPA Section 608 certification matters when work could release regulated refrigerant from an appliance; it is not a blanket credential for every role.
- For ammonia systems, ask about site training and safety duties. OSHA process-safety requirements depend on the system and its ammonia quantity; confirm the facility's requirements.
- Compare base pay with overtime, shift premiums, call pay, travel time, vehicle, tools, and training.
