Refrigeration Service Technician

Job Title: Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technician – VRF, Rooftop Units
Compensation: $40–$50/hr (Based on Experience) + Guaranteed 40 Hours/Week

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technician to join our growing team. This position focuses on start-ups, service, and troubleshooting of VRF systems, rooftop units, and commercial refrigeration equipment. We offer a reliable schedule, excellent pay, and no weekend on-call expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform start-ups, maintenance, and service on VRF systems, rooftop HVAC units, and commercial refrigeration systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment in commercial environments
• Service refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, and related components
• Provide clear and professional communication with clients and team members
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation via laptop/tablet
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience with VRF systems, rooftop units, and commercial refrigeration equipment
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, controls, and electrical diagnostics
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, first shift hours
• No weekend work required
• Optional overtime available
